So this online pregame. Think we’ve discussed it before, but we just made it better. You know when you go to a bar and just stand in one area and talk to the same friends you came with the whole time. Fun? Of course it is, but with our online pregame we tweaked it so you can see people that you see EVERYONE who is at the party. So when you join an online pregame before one of our parties we made it so that you are introduced to everyone. It’s a complex algorithmic, super complicated equation - trust us, but we want to make sure you can interact with everyone in the online pregame. That way when you go to party, you can recognize all the faces there. Also you can laugh at other people’s sketches they made, like this:

Yes, yes, we have a new game. Oh yes, of course it’s awesome. It’s called sketch and basically you can try out your drawing skills based on some prompts we give you. For example, draw an eskimo:

So why is this going to make the party more fun?

Well, first it’s hilarious seeing other people’s attempts at drawing things and also trying to guess who drew what. It will make for funny conversation when you see who drew that amazing unicorn or that subpar alarm clock. See the drawings and then when you meet your fellow artists boom, connection made. We have some more fun things planned with sketch, so this is just the beginning.

So don’t delay, sketch away!

First off, you might be asking what is an online pregame? Well, it’s a way to meet everyone before you go party. See pictures of who is coming, and play some games with everyone. So that way when you walk in to the party you have something to talk about and know everyone already who is going to be there. We like to think before any party there should be an online pregame mainly because it makes the actual party more fun.

So why should you join and participate? Because if you don’t you miss out on some of the fun games we have at the event. See this entourage?

This is a winning entourage from an event. They had to guess who was in their group based on the nicknames they won during the pregame. So if they didn’t get a nickname because they didn’t do the pregame they have no chance at winning. And trust us, you want to win. 

So you did the pregame, but then don’t come to the event…Shame on you! You’re missing out on to see all the people that you’ve “hung out with” in the online pregame. You have nicknames and superlatives but won’t be able to be awarded them because you won’t be there! 

We believe the experience of meeting and hanging out with people can be improved with an online pregame but the real world meeting has to make place for a real connection to be made.

Thanks to everyone that came to our Launch Party at SideBar! It was a great time and a great beginning to what we have in store. What do we have in store you might ask? Lots of fun, duh.

Hey, we’re Social Blendr. High five for coming by to pay us a visit. Already you’re cool in our book. Don’t know if we’ve been formally introduced by we like to have fun. A lot of it. Hopefully you do too. We hang out in the fun zone, and that’s just how we roll.
